Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or navigating a major life transition. You don’t need to have everything figured out, just a willingness to begin is enough. We can explore together whether therapy feels like the right next step for you.
The first session is a gentle introduction where we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you’re hoping to change or understand. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and needs. Some people come for short-term support during a specific challenge, while others prefer longer-term work focused on deeper healing and growth.
Most clients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, especially in the beginning, as this helps build consistency and momentum. Over time, we may adjust frequency based on your progress and needs.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process distressing or traumatic memories that feel “stuck.” It does not require you to go into every detail of your trauma, and we always move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Yes. While my specialty is supporting women through trauma, postpartum challenges, and major life transitions, I do see men when it feels like a good therapeutic fit. If I’m not the best match, I’m always happy to provide referrals.
At this time, I am not offering couples counseling. I am referring couples out to trusted providers. This service may return in the future, so stay tuned.
Yes. I work with therapists, social workers, and other helping professionals who need a safe, grounded space to process their own experiences. You don’t have to hold everything alone just because you’re the one others turn to.
Yes, I do work with teens age 16 and older on a case-by-case basis. I understand that reaching out for support for a teen can feel important and personal, so we’ll talk through their needs together to decide if my services are a good fit.
Yes. Everything you share in therapy is kept confidential and protected by law and professional ethics. This means your information cannot be shared without your written consent.
There are a few important exceptions to confidentiality, which I am required to follow by law. These include situations involving concerns about harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult, or court orders requiring disclosure.
If any of these situations were ever to arise, I would always aim to be as transparent with you as possible about what is being shared and why. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and fully informed throughout the therapy process.
I require at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or changes. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments (no-shows), are charged the full session fee.
I understand that unexpected situations can arise, and when possible, I encourage you to reach out as soon as you know you need to make a change. This policy helps ensure that appointment times are respected and available for other clients who may need support.
